Door Lock Fault

At some point in a VW owners life you have walked up to your door and opened it and found it won’t open. You don’t really think anything of it until you go for a service and a workshop quotes you to replace the door lock. You think to yourself this does not need to be replaced right now. You’re correct in thinking it won’t be needed because the faults are mostly intermittent. If it does fail then the repair becomes a lot more difficult.
